lightningrods

Lightning rods are copper or aluminum rods mounted on various locations on a roof, as per code, to provide adequate protection if lighting were to target your house. These rods are connected to a U.L.-approved braided cable

that runs to the ground and connects to a copper rod driven at least 10 feet into the ground. This path provides a safe means for lighting to get into the earth while doing minimal damage to the structure.
